Hi Juxtians! A new major update/patch is HERE! The team is addressing many of the issues the community has shared with us and has made over 40 improvements and bug fixes in this major update. We made quality of life fixes that ease some of the unnecessary pain points identified by early players at launch, while still keeping the difficulty up and addressing some overpowered builds. I don't understand why this game has mixed reviews? This is a top tier 2D soulslike, immaculate pixel art, great atmosphere and rewarding combat. Definitely worth checking out, totally underrated gem

Solid 2D soulslike. Great pixel art, some cool bosses and area designs. The combat is a little bit basic, and the game only took me 10 hours to do most of what there was to offer, but worth a shot if you like soulslikes and especially if you see it on sale.

grabbed on sale, actually pretty cool game. really nice artwork, once you got used to the controls/combat it was actually really satisfying

Haven't beaten it yet, but it's... fine. It's not a Metroidvania at all and shouldn't be approached as one; it's entirely a 2D souls-like. It's mostly linear, has nothing in the way of movement upgrades or anything like that, and plays more or less the same in basic terms from start to finish. Areas are pretty much spoke-and-hub collections of combat encounters with shortcuts to open up. Combat is competent and...
