1FY's Final Steam Sale!

Yes, today marks the last week that 1FY will be on sale on Steam. It was a great learning experience, and I'm coming away with a lot of newfound knowledge about what to do or not do with game development. A big shout-out to everyome who provided support and/or witty remarks through this past almost-a-year! But really, this is the best option for me in the long run. This does not mean 1FY will be gone forever, though! It will still be available on itch.io. In fact, its already been set to its new permanent price! Spoiler alert: it's free. I tried to make it the same price here on Steam for this final week, but...Steam wouldn't let me do anything but set it to 87% off. I don't know why. So if you really really really REALLY want to +1 your account with a melancholy visual novel about an AI desperate for human attention, then you have from now until September 6th to do so.

It's a very short game, but I thought it was engaging. It's basically just a straight path with no choices until the very end, but Oswald is fun. My only caveat is that it is so short that I am honestly not sure if it is worth the price. It was for me, but 30 minutes might not be enough for others.

While the game is going to be removed I'm still going to write a review since it was just a genuinely enjoyable experience. I liked the way Oswald was written, for the games short time the story was quite captivating and amusing, managing to deliver the effect I think it was trying to achieve. Definitely a good 30 minutes(ish) well spent and I hope the developer finds success in their next projects as this was a...

A short but charming VN about interacting with an AI. I almost forgot my main purpose for talking to him as I was doing so until near the end. Got a couple of laughs out of it too. Man, that bad ending, whoo boy. Don't forget to read the manual first!
