2025-04-17Hey there! It's time for the final stage of our playtests — and this one's a big one! This time, we're especially focused on Story Mode, and we can't wait to hear what you think. To kick things off, we're sharing the beginning of Into The Darkness VR with you. Dive in, explore, and let us know how it feels! Changelog: • Updated content for Playtest 3.0 • Reworked backpack behavior • Reworked inventory slot system – now adjustable during gameplay • Stabilized game physics • Improved accuracy when throwing dynamic objects • Optimized overall performance • Optimized VRAM usage and improved streaming pool handling • Various minor bug fixes • Fixed an issue where Oculus/Meta controllers might not function properly • Fixed a bug where enemies sometimes failed to attack the player

• Fixed an issue where the game might not render correctly when the wrong default OpenXR platform was selected; OpenXR selection is no longer required Known issues: • Playtests are designed for Meta headsets • Clicking "continue" without reaching the first checkpoint will cause the game to load forever • Most settings are currently non-functional – changing them has no effect. • Grabbing enemies may occasionally cause performance drops. • Footstep impact sounds can sometimes repeat rapidly in quick succession. • On systems with slower hard drives, you can experience texture pop-in • Some objects may not be grabbable at this time. • Physics accuracy may decrease during performance drops • If the user is sitting in real life but Frank remains standing in-game, please recalibrate player height in the main menu.
