In short: Yarne is a meditative, simplistic puzzle game about stretching and arranging strings. The levels are well designed and can get fairly difficult. The minimalist aesthetic does not excuse the lack of settings and several elements of jankiness. Even for roughly 5 hours of unique content I wouldn't recommend buying at full price, but on sale it's a decent pick-up if you're looking for a relaxing puzzle...

The game is simple to pick up but difficult to complete which is great for a puzzle game. The tutorial like levels and shapes help demonstrate the rules of the game effectively and beautifully. I also enjoy the fact that I can play this game with Steam Link as it only requires mouse control. For 3 dollars, this game is well worth the money. I will definitely be trying to complete all the levels.

Yarnay is equal parts relaxing, intuitive, and challenging. The puzzles have a human design that reward both pattern recognition and creativity. I think this is the perfect game for gamers of all shapes and sizes
