This game is close to a recommendation, it's not that it's bad, it's more that it's not very good. It plays worse than the original Doom but better than Wolfenstein 3D. The latter had really aged with the release of the former, so that's not a compliment. The game is comprised of a bunch of episodes which contain a few small levels. You can plow through an episode in half an hour or so, so a short game. The...

All around good game until you get to the last episode then it falls apart. It may of bugged but I had to use the weakest weapon for the final ep and I died to the last boss but I'm not wasting my time trying to beat it like that as 30 minutes fights are no fun. Hopefully the second game fixes this.

This game is a lot like another of my favorite fantasy games...u know the game WIZORDUM. ARKOS is so cool I even decided to purchase ARKOS II with 1. I love this genre of games...keep em comin 👻 👽
