To get this out of the way, I don't support censorship. It's why I didn't buy it until a fanmade patch was available. It's out for a while now, so I bought the game and finished reading it. It definitely did not disappoint. Case 1 felt like a modern romantic drama, I quite liked it. Rin was definitely a very memorable and fun character. This made me ugly cry. A lot. Stellar storytelling, characters and soundtrack. While I'm praising the game, I'm mostly talking about its main course - Case 0, which is an emotional rollercoaster and one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever read. I found Steam version preferable to 18+ patch which ruins emotional buildup of some scenes, its content feels out of place and tacked on. Other than that? Peak fiction.

For the sake of what this game meant to me, I'll ignore the censorship drama regarding Case 1, but if that bothers you, there is a very easy to find fan translation. This is not only my favorite game of all time, but my favorite story ever told in any medium, and something I would consider to be a life-changing read.
