Silver Axe Major Optimization Update!
2026-02-28Dear Players, Over the past year, our game has launched on major console platforms (Nintendo, PS5, and Xbox). While working closely with our publishing partners on the console versions, we made many improvements and optimizations to the game, and the console releases have received positive feedback. Now, based on the various enhancements and tuning made for the console versions, we have brought a new update to the Steam version of the game. Although the game has been available on Steam for many years and there are not many new players joining, we still want to deliver the best possible version of the game to everyone who has supported us. We hope this update will allow players to enjoy a better overall experience. The update includes the following changes: 0. Re-made all the English translation, which has been verified on consoles. 1. Added Master Mode and reduced the difficulty of Normal Mode. Players who find the game challenging can start with Normal Mode, while those seeking a tougher challenge can choose Master Mode. 2. Added a Quick Cast system. Players can preset elemental skill combinations in the skill interface and quickly cast these pre-combined skills during combat. 3. To improve controls and reduce accidental inputs, the default keyboard and controller bindings have been partially adjusted. Please refer to the newly updated in-game tutorial for detailed guidance. 4. Added controller vibration effects, triggered when taking damage or restoring health, to enhance haptic feedback. 5. Adjusted the default attack range to make combat feel smoother. 6. Tweaked the AI of certain enemies to improve the combat experience. 7. Reorganized and unified all in-game terminology to make the game’s world and concepts easier to understand. 8. Due to unification with the console versions, key rebinding has been temporarily disabled. It will be re-enabled after related issues are resolved. 9. Improved the experience on Steam Deck.
