A great throwback to older games but with all the polish you expect from more modern titles. Similar to Shovel Knight in a lot of ways, and there's also a bit of Mega man here too. Wish this game had more reviews, so more people might find it. If it looks like your kind of thing - I'd highly recommend it.

Copies Shovel Knight's notes to a T without innovating much. If you haven't played Shovel Knight, play that instead. If you have, then wait for a deep discount. Not an awful game, just isn't doing anything interesting.

Let's make this short: Simple, effective, fun upgrades, facepalmed at some jokes but I think that was the point. The levels are fun to navigate, and I really had the desire to 100% every levels. I never felt like "Ah, sh*t.. I gotta get back in..", which is pretty good. Amazing 2D platformer, one of the best I've played this year.
