It doesn't want to let me do basic things like dropping the subtitles where I want. It always put them back to the start. Terrible software. You can surely get a way better video editor software elsewhere.

Randomly doesn't allow things you would expect: imported clips often don't play audio, though the audio is there in other programs; editing a video clip will often result in it freezing altogether, so that you can't confirm the result of the edit; you can't resize tracks vertically or name them (e.g. to make it obvious which track has the material you intend to work with at the moment); there's no apparent way to...
