If you play this game on Linux, prepare for problems. Content downloader do not refresh window, so downloading ned content is a pain. The game runs poorly on proton (tried several versions, including GE), it crashes, hangs, black screens and alot of stuttering, this even on lower settings. So if you run on Linux, go with one of the other train simulators.

SP 7 broke my copy of Trainz 2022. I'm getting like 4 FPS where I used to get 40-50!! Gotta revert to Trainz 2019 now on account of this piece of sh*t update. What were the idiots at Auran thinking when they released this game destroying update?

Trainz22 did work on steam deck. N3v had to start messing around with the menu that has never started correctly in like the last 4 or 5 versions of the game. It starts as a small window or more like a widget and then opens into an advertising memory leaking mess. Hard to believe you can have something working and then someone starts messing around and leaves holes in everything. I hate to even get started on the...
