Small Update Patch Notes

2024-02-16

We just set a small update live. This mostly removes some redundant and unneeded files from the install directory. With this update, you should also see a new option when starting the game: To launch the C1 Emergency Kit. This way, you don't have to navigate to the install directory anymore to start it.

If you are interested in the Creatures series but are afraid to jump right into the most advanced one (C3) C1 is a great place to start. A must-have for anyone interested in the idea of an 'advanced' virtual pet game. Your health kit will most likely be broken when you start the game; you can look up the fix for this as it's a quick renaming thing to fix. Then try launching the Health Kit while the game is running...

Beautiful games with a lot of depth. It's great to be able to play Creatures 1 and Creatures 2 again after so many years. The whole background art of Creatures 1 is from photos of a physical sculpture!
