The simulator can be used in both Screen mode and VR mode. In VR mode, you can maneuver the boat and operate the radar and the map with a gamepad. In both modes you can choose to be a passenger on the bridge while the autopilot steers the boat, or be the skipper yourself.

Experienced on the Meta Quest 2 You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/3pA9YklrwOw I'm not sure what this game / app was going for. The visuals are very low resolution with poor textures. There are no sounds. Motion controllers are not supported. The UI is ugly. To start VR, you have to click on start VR on the desktop screen, then wait for the files to load, then you can click start to begin...

Users need to realise that this is a Radar sim and not a boating simulator. The experience is in the use of the radar, AIS and GPS for navigation and collision control in the scenarios, not the graphics of the boat. Great is you want to hone your navigation skills.

Usefull tool to practice coastal navigation(spec. in Norway).could recommend it to Navigation students,cadets etc... 8/10 has Potential to be great. -Add more sceneries :oslofjord,kristiansand,stavanger,haugesund,bergen/mongstad , ålesund,trondheim,tromsø ,hammerfest....? Other parts of the world? - more intens/challenging traffic -radar/ecdis improvements
