Hello.....again! Torple has been keeping an eye on the Steam forums, and was able to track down some of those more pesky issues some of you have been running into! Check out the chagelog below: Changelog: • Fixed a softlock when clicking on a blood fountain in mouselook mode • Moved lore page 15 to the wall next to abandoned wing portal so that it can actually be picked up • Added lore page 20 to the final level, behind the portal in the meat zone • Removed lore page 15 and 20 from the achievement requirement, and added an achievement check on game start. Anyone who was denied the achievement previously should now unlock it when loading into the game • Fixed the correct Tchrinket dialogue not appearing if the player quits the game after picking up the knife. • Removed the workaround of the marrowfiend spell being taught by picking up the knife

I like the concept of this game, and really everything about it, but I got a gamebreaking bug on the last level that no amount or reloading or dying will fix, and I'm not even sure if it's possible to revert to an earlier save. According to the discussion there's lots of potential softlocks like this, so if you don't mind risking that then play it.

I really want to recommend this however, it’s so buggy and easy to softlock it that i can’t. I really like the premise and the art is also very interesting . all of these aspect almost make the game worth it but the fact that you run can be cursed to fail because one glitch that happened ruins it Spoilers: I had 4 separate runs each of them were softlocked to eternity. Irredeemably buggy but immensely charming homage to the infamously uncanny FMV games of the 90's, but whether parody or genuine attempt at recreating a lot of those surreal games will vary from scene to seen.
