Town update

2026-02-04

The Paws for Adventure Human town update introduces the town of Moon Drop Cove. Here you can interact with the dogs and cats from the human town and buy, win and find heart pieces to increase your health. This includes nine new NPCs to interact with, new quests, new shops, new puzzles and of course several new areas to explore. This content will become available to the player as soon as they leave the forest so you have to have completed the Forest Temple in order to access this new content and you will have to return to Moon Drop Cove multiple times throughout the adventure in order to collect all the heart pieces on offer. A new item, Luck powder has been introduced which has been hinted at since the initial release. This will increase your chances of receiving extra drops and better plant/prey spawns.

This build also introduces some bug fixes that fix various issues that have been reported. You can no longer re-enter the Forest Temple and claim an extra heart piece. You can no longer re-enter the Tidal Tower and claim an extra heart piece. And a few other small bugs have been fixed. Of course it may not be completely bug free. Feel free to let me know of any bugs you encounter while playing.

An old school adventure with some indie style. Heavily reminiscent of Zelda games. Super cute cats to befriend (especially Norah). You can sing songs with a giant saxophone playing caterpillar, solve puzzles, talk to owls, collect stuff, and pounce on critters. Absolutely loved this game.

While I appreciate the CatTails series for capturing the spirit of late 90s 2D MMOs like Nexus, this is closer to what you would expect when you hear the words "cat-themed Zelda clone." Even with (and perhaps benefitting from) the simple PS1/N64 style graphics, the sense of exploration and fun from being able to scamper around the world as a little kitty is unmatched. Meow Meow Meow Meooow Jokes aside; this is a lovely overlooked Hidden Gem with clearly many hours and love put into it. Very reminiscent of old RPG's. You must learn to behave like a wild cat, all the while befriending the local animal community's and fending off attackers.
