This game is what I would expect Dirt 2 to feel like coming from someone who's first dirt game was dirt 3. And after looking at their website, the dev literally worked on dirt 2 so it checks out. This game is just actually amazing and plays better than a lot of the AAA games in this Genre. I just wish they would keep updating it. They haven't updated it since 2023. Finally a game that feels like the old 2005 Colin McRae games. no need for a $2k GPU. runs just fine, and there seems to be plenty of content.

I really wanted to like this game and it pains me to write a negative review for what is at it's core, a solid rally simcade experience. The handling model and tracks are great. The call outs are also great and accurate. The aesthetics while not mind blowing are serviceable and convey a great experience of speed. Where the game falls flat is in the punishing difficulty. It is insanely difficult to beat the AI times...
