MAKING THE BIGGEST UPDATE FOR THE GAME.
2023-08-18I have been reading all of the bad reviews on the game and have started adding every feature requested, from overall improving the gameplay to language options, I'm going to go into detail on what I'm adding on to the game. • The game is now getting 10 new languages: Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Russian and Polish.

• The game is now getting graphics options, many people have requested this when leaving reviews and now you can edit every effect in the game, or you can remove the effects entirely. A new effect getting added is Chromatic Aberration, this was not requested but I wanted to stay true to the VHS look which is why I added, if you don't like it you can just turn it off or make the effect less intense in the graphics options. You can also play the game in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 and this will come default but you can always revert back to 16:9 in the graphics menu. • The game is also getting changeable keybindings, as requested I am adding this just in case people hate my pre-set keybindings. • I am also adding a brand new story new to the one before, this was not requested but I felt that I needed to change it because I literally copied what every found footage video and most backrooms games have done with their lore. • The most important change of them all, I am going to add WAY more gameplay, normally you can finish a level in below 3 minutes but now I am going to add way more tasks and puzzles to complete in each level that have to do with what level you are on. I am also going to add more levels plus an actual level selector so you can go back to levels you were in to find new levels. There is also going to be more easter eggs as there is only a couple right now like the ability to break the windows with a wrench in level 592. • Full controller support will also be added as a person complained that the game was not on steam deck. • Coming with the full controller support will be split-screen co-op hopefully if I can get it to work. • Many people were complaining that I have no idea what liminality is and that my game is just a bunch of PNGs plastered on walls, and you are completely right, I have no idea what I am doing which is why I added a no entity game mode for a completely liminal experience. (This won't apply to levels like level ! because that level's whole mechanic is an entity chase). I am also removing the smilers plastered on walls in level 0 as many people complained that that just looked really bad and I agree. • Lastly I hope to add multiplayer co-op support so you can play with your friends online. I won't make any promises as this might not be possible but I will try my best. I hope I can finish all of these tasks and roll the update by the end of the year. Thank you for your understanding.
