The Dragon's Prophecy

The Dragon's Prophecy is at it's core a send off to the classic and Master System JRPGs of a bygone era. Especially Dragon Warrior/Quest (It's still Dragon Warrior to me dammit!). You begin the game as Prince (Prince? No, Finger prints. *beat* I don't think so...) Magnus, who is tasked to kill the fozzle and save the world from it's evil. Nothing fancy, nothing spectacular, just good old fashioned JRPG...

Got softlocked in the castle after an hour of play and got no dev or community help to fix it. I'm not the only person to get stuck here either. Doesn't matter that the game feels good to play and has pretty fun character design if you can't play it.

Fun retro JRPG, the story was also pretty old school with no real twists or surprises. Yet I found myself getting through the mazes (which honestly felt a bit grindy) to find out what happened next in the story. Also, no random encounters, although, for me, I enjoy being over leveled before boss battles. I felt the battles and story could have been expanded on for something a little more unique. Overall, 8/10, good...
