2026-08-27Hey everyone! This update focuses on gamepad support, cleaner menus, and a bunch of fixes that make mini-games and upgrades feel smoother — whether you’re on keyboard, mouse, or controller. What’s New Controller support for mini-games You can now play the mini-games more comfortably with a gamepad: • Platformer — move with stick / D-pad, jump with A, navigate menus with focus highlights • Flappy Drone — flap with A, clearer on-screen prompts, menus fully controller-friendly Menus now show a clear focus highlight, so you always know which button is selected. Collection (Bestiary) The Collection screen is now controller-friendly too — scroll the list with stick / D-pad. Smarter skill prompts on the TV Active skill hints now match how you’re playing: • Keyboard → 1 / 2 / 3 • Gamepad → X / Y / B What’s Improved Upgrades menu Equipping skills is simpler and more reliable:

• Skills in your set activate automatically — no separate Activate step • Loadouts save correctly after drag-and-drop / restart • Controller navigation through the skill store and pool is smoother • Skill descriptions refresh properly when browsing upgrades Window & cursor • Removed the Always on Top option from window settings (it caused more trouble than it was worth) • Cursor stays hidden in gamepad mode (including the chest reward screen) • Fixed the annoying arrow ↔ hand cursor flicker on the TV frame • Main menu mouse clicks work normally again Mini-game polish • Chugayster: movement, tunnels, and timing feel more consistent • Flappy Drone: waits for your first flap, better speed ramp, clearer A-button hint • Win / lose screens no longer steal focus unexpectedly • Typing intros can be skipped cleanly — text finishes and the keyboard sound stops Bug Fixes • Empty upgrade slots after changing a loadout and restarting • Upgrade description panel showing placeholder text (UPGRADE_NAME, etc.) • Controller selection broken in Upgrades after a script load error • Drag-and-drop errors when placing skills into the set • Region splash / background showing the wrong area after a win • Various focus and input issues across menus and mini-games Notes for Controller Players Recommended flow: • Open a menu → move with stick / D-pad • Confirm with A • Back / cancel with B (or the Back button) • In upgrades: pick a skill → place it in a pool cell → it’s ready to use Thanks for playing Bavovna included! and for all the feedback!
