1.1 is Out Now!
2026-09-24Hello everyone! The update 1.1 is now available to download. It introduces a new movement ability, numerous quality of life improvements, support for new languages, and much more. Highlights Dive A new advanced movement ability. Press the down key at the apex of a jump to rapidly accelerate your descent. Diving interacts with existing movement elements, creating new movement opportunities. For example, activating a jump orb while diving strongly pushes you in the movement direction, granting a brief speed boost. Some existing levels have been revisited to reward precise timings. The new translation system allows players to create and import unofficial translations for the game. All text now includes fallback fonts for non-Latin and non-Cyrillic scripts like Hangul (Korean), Hanzi (Chinese), and Japanese. Due to limitations of Godot engine version used by the game, there's no support for right-to-left writing systems. If you wish for your translation to ship officially, feel free to send an email to translations@dnesovgames.com with the subject "Jump Adventures Translation - (language name in English)" and the attached translation file. Please make sure the subject is correct. Afterwards, I'll reply with additional information and resources required to fully localize the game, including the Steam page! Japanese & Dutch The game now officially includes translations in Japanese and Dutch, created by sbeve. Improved Controller Support Controller support has been improved alongside rewrites of the UI navigation. Sliders and dropdown buttons now behave as expected when using the joystick. In addition, the game now recognizes PlayStation controllers. You can manually switch between controller glyph types in the settings. And More. The devil is in the details. Many aspects of the game have been revisited and tweaked: from smaller UX improvements, to official level revisions, sound effect updates, and performance improvements. These are insignificant in isolation, but together they create a more complete and polished experience. Take a look at the changelog below to see all the changes! Conclusion I hope you'll enjoy Zenith! My goal with this update was to leave the game in a much better state than it was at release and give it the second chance I always felt it deserved. There are still ideas I'd love to explore, and I've already shared a small glimpse in the previous post. However, my main focus is currently on my next game, so I don't want to make any promises about what comes next. And if you're discovering Jump Adventures for the first time through this update: welcome. I hope you have fun. Enjoy!
