To be honest, I don't think you even need to have seen Fairy Tail in order to appreciate the game. The gameplay loop is just that good. I can't say how it compares to other roguelike deckbuilders, but there's a ton of replay value in this game.

Really liked the possible combinations that can be achieved with each character. None of the characters feel bad to use and are pretty balanced. great mechanics and engaging gameplay

Personally I'm a fan of the franchise and I'm glad that this is a fresh take on the anime games. Not every game has to be a naruto/dbz pvp match. This game is very short however it's replayable and I hope the devs add a lot more characters and levels since the original manga has very huge roster of wizards. Overall, a solid game and would recommend if you enjoy fairy tail or looking for a new experience.

I am lukewarm on the Fairy Tail manga/anime but this game is great. A real sleeper hit. It starts off like Slay the Spire. You choose a character and enter the solo dungeon which is similar to ascending the spire in StS. If you clear the dungeon, your character's final deck/build can be saved. Each character has a healthy amount of save slots for successful decks so you can save different "builds". There are...
