If you've never played this game and want to get anything worthwhile from it, install the Resurgence of the Volcano mod, it actually fixes a lot of the issues of the original and adds new content that is comparable to the stuff from Round 2 in terms of quality. That being said, it turns a 4/10 game into a 6-7/10 one (hehe, six seven), so don't get your expectations too high if you don't have any nostalgia for it. I...

Kao: Mystery of the Volcano is the 3rd installment of the Kao franchise which regresses in some aspects from Kao 2, but is still a better game then Kao 1. this games awful. the controls are terrible. the enemies are too numerous and not fun to kill. and its just overly painful expeernce this game feels like a beta it nice for once but if you honestly want it as a good game sorry but no. thankfully the publishers...or devs eventually made a better game
