Into the HIVE! - Hotfix #3

Hey, you beautiful cluckers! The third hotfix pack is here with some eggcelent goodies: • Fixed a bug where the wrong character spoke in the wrong voice in a specific dialogue. • Fixed several typos, we will continue to do this (a long script, you know...) • Fixed a bug in the Glass Shard minigame • We also fixed and tweaked the collider of collectibles, so they are a bit easier to pick up (especially with a controller) • Made several small graphical polishes • Slightly changed the opening text of the credits because unfortunately, some people misunderstood it (in a quite negative way). Now our message is the same, but more simple and clear. • And we made some system-wide code fixes for a much smoother and more fluid gameplay experience. (too boring to list) Thank you for playing and loving our game! Have fun, and continue to be awesome!

There are two cases for recommendations: Case 1: to somebody who has not played the first game (Paint It Red). I wouldn't recommend this game because this game does build a fair bit on the previous. Some developments in the game, without spoiling it, would seem a bit out of left field for newcomers. I'd recommend they'd play Paint It Red first. Pros - better visuals, color/noir is on a toggle - introduces several unique mini games - the world building for chicken police in general is great - the dialogue is alright, not as gritty as the first game Cons - the plot feels rushed, with a lot of noticeable plotholes and a sped up ending. much worse than what is built upon in paint it red, with an unsatisfying conclusion - characters (specifically sonny) have...
