Beam Eye Tracker 2.6.8: GameInput fix for controller hotkeys, and a crash fix

Beam Eye Tracker 2.6.8 is out, together with the fixes from 2.6.7. 2.6.8 • Fixed Beam crashing when starting some games, such as IL-2 Sturmovik, while using the Optimized driver. 2.6.7 • This update includes Microsoft's fix for a GameInput bug affecting controller hotkeys. The GameInput Compatibility Tool and downgrade previously recommended on our website are no longer needed. (Windows) • Fixed an issue that prevented Eyeware Camera from showing live webcam video in other applications. (Windows) • Beam's overlay windows no longer appear in Alt+Tab or the taskbar on Windows and Linux X11. (Windows, Linux) • Fixed an unresponsive macOS Dock icon: clicking it now brings Beam back into view, and Quit closes the app as expected. I want to like this, and it may be decent for sim racing and casual flight sim, but for DCS its pretty useless. No matter how much smoothing its jitter city. It doesn't want to look down, no matter what I do in the Open Track curve editor. I need to use Open Track to edit curves, no native curve editing. It's is NOT a Track IR replacement. I use my iphone 16, should be decent enough to get a smooth track, but...

- uninstalled and removed from steam library - months later I notice unusual process on task manager - checks process - is Beam eye tracker - Check if I uninstalled (I did) - apparently now starts on startup - closes process and tries to uninstall - apparently interacts with my browser - mhhh

Software works good when it actually launches. Before you reply, yes I have tried all recommended solutions online by the devs. Only thing that "solves" this issue for me is deleting the log files or moving the install to another drive. These "fixes" are inconsistent at best. Buyer beware this app may or may not work for you. The application is definitely not in a finished state.
