I really wish I could recommend this game because I absolutely love the art style, the music & all the cute clothing & furniture you can buy. But sadly, there just isn’t enough to do to keep you hooked. I did finish the game and graduate, and I might come back for another play through if there are future updates, but as of right now I personally can’t recommend it. I am more on the fence of this as a "maybe", but alas, that is not an option. So, I can recommend it with some caveats. I enjoyed my time playing Whimel Academy, but I would reserve my recommendation for those who already enjoy VNs with stat raising and some life simulation. A very cute, cozy lil game about being at a magic school. stat raising, and lots of things to decorate your room, cat, and yourself. The art is adorable, and there's a surprising amount of character growth in the friend/romance arcs. There are also no strange teacher romances, or eldritch things lurking beneath.
