I bought the previous game with the promise it was for life. They turned off the server making the game unplayable. They immediately start selling the game again, but this time you must purchase the maps separately. Dishonest seller, not recommended.

The TL;DR Version: If you have access to the old game, keep playing that one; if you don't well...don't buy this version (I got the all-current-DLC version on Humble Bundle so no refund for me). At maybe 35 minutes in, all I can say is it's a frustrating game to play. Hard to see the routes even with simplified map option on, very slow even when gameplay is set to fast, colours and colour-blind symbols are far too...

I also owned the old version of this game, and I find the visual style of this version more jarring. But more annoying is how bad the CPU opponents in this version are. Even though I own more maps in this version of the game, I still prefer to play the old version if I feel like playing single player, since the opponent AI is so horrible. So, if you plan to play multiplayer, this version may be all right for you...
