Version 1.7.9 Patch Notes Added to previous 1.7.7 and 1.7.8 versions Fixes • Fixed an issue in Play-by-Email matches where the game could show "This is not your turn to play" incorrectly and block you from loading your save. • Fixed a bug that allowed a leader without real battle leadership to start a battle. • Fixed a bug that allowed units to attack without a leader present, even when one was required. • Fixed a rare freeze that could occur when the game checked for a leader during movement or combat. • Fixed diplomacy restrictions on movement occasionally lingering after the event that caused them had ended. Improvements • Improved Steam connection reliability, with more retry attempts and clearer messages if the game can't connect. • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to fail recognizing your Steam ownership.

I picked up this game mainly because I live in Shanghai and was curious to see how the city’s history was portrayed. The game has a nice setting and some interesting mechanics, especially with the way unit activation works. Completely unplayable game, tutorial is way too simple, doesn't explain the game mechanics at all. It's completely random when you need to right click vs. left click. Outcome of battles is completely random. All the units freeze up randomly. Messaged developers multiple times for help and get no response. I have over 200 games in my account, many in the strategy and tactics genre. This is a scam in the current state.
