In MEVO's quest to reunite his band, bring back 'FUNK', and defeat the enemy SILENCE, players must successfully progress through five beautifully crafted worlds (Ocean, Jungle, Desert, Space and Wormhole), finding avatars along the way that will help our reluctant hero unlock other levels and reach certain scores.

Mostly just writing this review for the sake of this stupid badge, but this was a fun game. It's a shame the devs have vanished and it'll probably never be on sale again.

I was in the mood for a rhythm game and this definitely worked for me. Good music and cute presentation. There are some places I wish it were a little more clear where the notes land as apparently I'm not funky enough to just feel it. Also, when trying to get some of the diamond gruvs it would be really nice if the level end/restart sequence was shorter. But mostly it's enjoyable.

As I review the past year, I found I've played MEVO more than any other Steam game I own. It's fun, addicting, and good practice as a musician for beat synchopation and overall coordination. The tunes are cool, and they stay with you. If you like old-school funk, it's a must-have! This game is the definition of "diamond-in-the-rough" If youi are considering MEVO...I truly think you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, this game is severely underrated. It came out in 2009, has never had a single sale (and probably never will), and fell quickly into obscurity. It's quite sad, as it's a really solid rhythm game with some great music. It's a shorter game, clocking in at less than 10 hours to 100%. There fifteen levels that get more and more challenging as you progress to a point where you'll be needing to use the Autopilot...
