Alright. Kong: Survivor Instinct is done and dusted. Although not without issues, this is a very good Monsterverse game, and it was pretty fun overall. So, let's dive in. The story set-up is that King Kong has returned to the surface from the Hollow Earth for unknown reasons and is tearing up the city this game is set in, also for unknown reasons. Yes I am recommending the game, but do not buy it for more than $15. I had no idea this game existed until today (I totally misread the release date and thought it was new) but as a fan of both the IP and Metroidvania's, I decided to purchase based on the mostly positive reviews. The concept for the game is great, being a human attempting to survive Kaiju destruction is great and I'd like to see more games use it....

I like Kong which is why I bought this game. I just couldn't stand dying all the time because of unresponsive controls. Very frustrating.
