It tries to be a meme and it fails miserably. It only makes me appreciate The Exit 8 even more for how that game manages to work so well.

It's on me that I thought Exit-kun was a general parody of Exit 8 about a silly guy going through a silly anomaly hallway. It is actually an ultra-specific meme that will mean nothing to you if you are not Chinese. That said, the actual game part is objectively bad. The ending was interesting but cannot change that.
