First: As of Patch 1.09, the localization is solid. I haven't noticed any problems, everything is coherent and internally consistent so far as I can tell. Second: There is a very minor progression reverting bug if you advance dialogue with the Confirm button on a controller while on the map screen. The first instance happens very early in the game, but it's fairly rare for dialogue to happen on the map screen. This...

AVOID as is (Oct 2025). CAVEAT EMPTOR. Cutscenes which cut out, finishing big boss battles which leads to the black screen of death 10 hours into the game meaning no chance of a refund... The absolute handling of these Front Mission releases has been an absolute disgrace. 'Meet the deadlines set by Square first, make the game actually playable three years later after a legion of patches' is... Honestly, anyone...
