Greetings, Minions! It's been awhile... but we're back with a BIG BAD update! Read on to discover everything that's new and improved in Castle Doombad! WHAT'S NEW: • It's finally time for ENDLESS KNIGHTS! Our newest mode comes with some sinister surpises, including... • SKULL MODS! When you start a run in Endless Knights, you can now access unlockable modifiers that allow you to change the difficulty of your runs in unexpected new ways. Modifying your game to be harder results in special and better rewards, but you can even make the mode easier and yourself more powerful if you wish. Customize everything to your villainous heart's desire! • Endless Knights includes dozens of new stage designs across three different themes, randomly chosen for every run. Heinous new elite hero variants also await... • This update brings over 15 new rewards including new Spoils, new Reskins, and new Custom Trap Shelves! • 7 New Baddie Bonus perks and 5 new Roguevenge Nightmares have been added to the game! They include a new type of perk: "Ability Baddie Bonuses", which add new triggerable ability buttons to your interface! • 4 New Achievements have been added, all tied to Endless Knights • Our Summer of Screams Event is back! (Better late than never!) The Event runs for one month starting today. New this year is a new Event Quest, several new Event-only Spoils and Reskins to unlock, and all activity reward bonuses from last year are reobtainable. • After Special Events end, any unspent Event Currency is now converted into a bonus standard currency reward (of the player's choice!) Players who have unspent Event Currency from previous events before this update will receive retroactive rewards. BALANCE UPDATES: • The follow traps and Doomkins have had their health points/defense increased: Axe-o-Matic, Doomarang, Doomkin, Fireball Cannon, Laser Blaster, Laser Shark, Loomkin, Potato Troll, Treadmill of Doom, Troopkin, Wacky Tube Man • Initial damage increased for Fireball Cannon, but also increased its rebuild cooldown duration • Reduced "shock chance" probability on Scream Generator upgrades • The Viking Beard and Santa Beard Spoils have had their Baddie Bonus upgrades reduced from 50% to 33%, but their Muahaha Slot Cost is lowered from 3 to 2 • Hero trap-aggro changes have received small adjustments. The following heroes now target traps slightly less frequently: Archers, Ghost Toasters, Hero Bots, Commandbros, and Super Heroes. The following heroes now target traps slightly more frequently: Lifeguards, Ninjas, Galaxy Soldiers. • Hacked traps from Hero Bot 1.0 now stay disabled for 25% longer • Most Terrifying and Bloodcurdling Nightmare tiers in Roguevenge have received buffs/value increases (while lower tiers remain the same) BUG FIXES: • Fixed the Recycling Bin feature not working on the Giant Boulder of Doom, the Iron Maiden, and the Zapper • Fixed Google Play Cloud services not working for some Android users, causing a pop-up error screen on launch • Fixed various text strings in the game not displaying properly in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean • Various performance and stability improvements applied • Various other minor bugfixes applied Thank you for playing Castle Doombad!!
