* The face displayed on the player token now correctly matches the selected explorer type. * The explorer and lives icons on the UI panel have been visually improved. * The tribe policy panel has been reworked. When loading a previously saved R5.0.0 game from Africa, the following temporary graphical issues will occur: * The explorer image on the UI panel may appear split at the waist. * The three lives head-icons on the UI panel will appear cropped. * The face on the player token may not match the explorer type. Note: These save issues are temporary and do not affect gameplay. They will be automatically resolved after starting a new game.

This is a digital port of a exceptionally complicated game that came out in the late 1970s. A contemporary to the origional D&D (Gary Gygax Himself gave it a favorable review at the time) I have never played this physical game. For that I must thank the devs for allowing me to play this hard to find and hard to learn game. As it is from an era of complicated rulebooks that makes Twilight Imperium look like chutes...

The game is more than the sum of its parts. Just about every aspect of the game is sub-par, yet for some reason I keep going back to play it again. It's not a complicated game at all. First, you select what type of explorer you are (zoologist, botanist, journalist, etc.). They're only slightly different. Then, you outfit your expedition with warriors, bearers, food, and maybe canoes, horses, or trade items. ...
