Because the World Died” is a post-apocalyptic indie game created with RPG Maker. I find this game very interesting; it’s not a typical jRPG game but more like an adventure game focused on dialogue, world exploration, and understanding the unfolding events. The game is quite hard at the start, and at first I was unsure what to do. It's hard to restore stats and it was confusing, but it's doable: you need to rest in a nice hotel room with food in the inventory and drink clean water. Playing with friendly rats can help with the Sanity stat (only a few rats are friendly, look on the roofs). I like that each character is their own individual, and I like that I can own a pet...

A bit more complex than average rpgmaker game, with a clear inspiration from early grim Fallout style post-apocalyptic feel and few easter eggs to that point.
