Patch 3.17 (Cumulative Updates)
2026-09-22Hello again! Once again, we’ve been rolling out a few updates without any announcements – some featuring really interesting content that a few of you have already enjoyed, and you’ve sent us valuable feedback to help us continue improving the game and its modes. To keep things brief, we’ll just mention the changes we consider most relevant... Some notable changes: • Health and cost balancing for many units. • Significant increase in damage dealt by Brave units. • UI improvements in battle (card/ability animations, and adjustments to the unit information panel effects). • UI improvements to the damage preview whilst an ability is selected.

• Significant change to the effects of the ‘Afraid’ and ‘Terrified’ altered states. These no longer prevent actions from being performed but drastically reduce the damage dealt; making them slightly less decisive but still highly effective at reducing the potential damage of the opposing unit. • Option in the Inventory to redeem promotional codes (for example: UPDATE317 is a promotional code you can redeem as a reward for reading this) • Substantial changes to heretical units due to new keywords and adjustments to existing ones. (Includes positive and negative effects, increased explosiveness, and enhancements to racial strengths and weaknesses, such as putrid or infernal unit keywords) • Improved efficiency in calculating AI actions. • Image optimisation to compensate for increased pixel count during updates. • Improvements to some animations. • The dialogue system now better reflects conversations by positioning the speaking character on one side or the other of the screen and improving text alignment. Furthermore, as you may be aware, we have been working on an Android version of the game, the demo of which is currently in public beta on the Play Store. Due to changes beyond our control, fine-tuning the game has proved somewhat difficult, particularly with regard to monetisation (rewards for viewing adverts or even in-app purchases, which never made it to the testing phase). Another task we’ve undertaken is updating to more modern versions of the development engine, which has required adjustments that have also taken longer than expected, but which we’re confident will lead to a more robust gaming experience and future development. If you like all the changes and improvements we are making, you can leave a comment here, and if you have any questions, queries, or anything you would like to discuss, the forum is available for that purpose And to strengthen the community! Sincerely, the development team at Pi Video Games. ;)
