Thought it might be a cute little TD type game. It is not. it is needlessly slow with janky controls. I felt limited the entire time I played in regards to movement, tower selection and and tower placement. Map grids are way too small to really be any fun. Glad I got it for free.

Miner Tower Defense is a really interesting combination of genres, and I liked how naturally the mining and tower defense mechanics fit together. Instead of simply placing towers on a prepared map, I have to dig through underground areas, collect minerals and then use those materials to build my defenses. That extra step makes the usual tower defense loop feel more involved. The mining is probably my favorite part...
