Farewell to Bot Beats 💔
2025-09-02Hey everyone, We’re Alexander "Aduxxor" and Jonathan "Machine-Jonte"—two brothers who grew up battling each other in games, building things, and eventually creating Bot Beats together. What started as a rough little 2D coding project turned into a 3D battler we’re proud of, and it’s been incredible seeing people play and enjoy it. But reality has caught up with us. Running servers, maintaining updates, and keeping everything alive costs far more than what comes in. Between full-time jobs, family, and the never-ending expenses of keeping an indie game online, we’ve reached a point where it’s no longer sustainable. With heavy hearts, we have to announce that Bot Beats will be retired, and Brotir AB will be closing down. The game will go offline in the near future—approximately a month from now.
