This isn't quite as flawless an experience as previous games in the series due to some rather naff mini-games (I mean really annoying!), but other than those frustrations (and the typically repetitive music) it's still the same hidden cat goodness that we've come to expect from these devs. Oh, and one additional kvetch is that in absence of visual cues as are found in other similar games to find super "hidden"...

I always had a preference for the other Devcats games given their more fictional nature or I can also mention the arcade version which was a haven for gamers considering the many video game references. With shelter I have come full circle (as I own the entire library) and while it's nice to have everything at your disposal I feel a bit of shame.
