-3 new languages have been added: Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Traditional Chinese -have added a new late-game item, the "Satellite Scanner", which will highlight the location of missing items (that are required to get all 100% achievements) on the map screen. In normal game, only whole rooms will be highlighted and in ng+ exact item locations. (note: Not every single missed item will be shown. Just the ones needed to get all file stats to 100%.) It is located next to the save point right before the final boss. Players who have previously reached this point will automatically have it in their inventory. -fixed the position of gun shells ejecting when firing upwards -minor stat changes to the following equipment: tomahawk, assault rifle, cryo blaster, lucky charm, fortune charm -fixed treasure achievement not being given immediately (previously needed to reload save file)

What A Surprising Package! Not gonna lie, "Metal-Slug-like metroidvania" is definitely not what I expect this game to be, and for good reasons. Usually this type of side-scrolling run'n'gun falls into the "metroid" part of the metroidvania, and Metal Slug's mission-based structure naturally conflicts with metroidvania's backtracking gameplay. That being said, I am more than happy to say that Guns of Fury...

This game is essentially Symphony of the Night starring Rambo by way of Metal Slug. The writing is massively ESL with practically no proofreading for quality, structure, or even coherence at some points, but the art and OST are top notch. The OST in particular really emulates the Neo-Geo CD/Sega CD era of jamming soundtracks in a way that other games try to and miss completely. If you like competent Metroidvanias...

If Metal Slug was a metroidvania with a story that was reminiscent of the original Bionic Commando for the NES, and you gave it a fresh coat of paint and some QoL features, it'd be this game.
