I don't mind simple games. The way Crab Cakes Rescue looks you can guess it's rather simply game. Doesn't have fancy graphics, doesn't have fluid animations. Just small levels and big number of them. I was enjoying game at some point - until platform levels happened... it's not like these levels are hard, it's just pure luck: maybe your very little crab will make it until platform dissapears but if not, you can start...

I normally try to complete games I start, but I gave up on this one. The simple concept seems cute and interesting at first, but the way it's executed is just bad. It quickly gets tedious and frustrating and stops feeling fresh. There's too much fannying about with precariously choosing the places to sacrifice yourself and the controls don't help. Some games designed during early projects wind up being fantastic surprises. Crab Cakes Rescue does not fall into that category. In all facets, it falls short.
