So simple. and compelling. I used this back when DOS was boss, and I'm very happy they never let it fade away.

This is an old game with old graphics which is the charm. It can be played in a setting that is easy enough to kill time and just enjoy it or hard core that would take planning and a lot of thought. Since it is all played though the mouse you can sit back send your units to where ever you want them and you can slow down the game while you decide where they need to be even at harder levels.

This is a good game to learn and get comfortable with before playing into something more complex like Conflict of Nations

It's a war game from the 80's. 'Risk' meets 'Battleship under the guise of checkers.' Pretty simple, keys based. You choose how formidable your enemy is, (the PC) and you can play a WWI a WWII scenario, or a 1986 scenario, a future, like 2150 scenario and a scenario where your enemies strength and whereabouts are unknown to you. It's a great strategic game. Most people laugh at the graphics. I think, how much better...
