0.96 Major Update - Draft Mode Unleashed! Enter the Onion Knight!
2026-07-25New: Draft mode allows you to create the underlying Pool of Cards your new Pseudo Class the Onion Knight can play with - this is randomly generated / picked by You! This pools all cards from every Class including Companions so you can create a Deck with Cards from each class. This mode can be played on Ascension as well in the full-game. There are two ways to play, both will churn out a randomized Character for you to play as well in terms of appearance you may see some things you haven’t before like playing an Archer in full armor, the possibilities are many! The Cards that are available to be pooled come from what you currently have “seen” within the Guide / Compendium and what Sub-Classes you have unlocked and picked from your Talent tree. To Complete a draft you need to do the following: Build Opening Deck: From a choice of 9 cards you will draft: > Your opening attack (5 copies) > opening block (5 copies) > uncommon (1 copy) These cards come from a pool of the other classes Opening decks. Draft Card List: You will then draft your card list that will effect what cards show up when you i.e. complete battles and get rewards - you will draft 50 cards try and make the most over powered setup you can between all classes: > 15 Common Cards > 10 Uncommon Cards > 10 Rares > 5 Epics > 10 Legendries You will select from 3 Cards each time. Allocate stat points The Onion Knight gets up to 8 points at max level you only start with 1, you can allocate these between 6 Statuses - some stay fixed that being: Strength, Dexterity, Willpower and Faith; The other two are randomly selected from a pool of Statuses to add flavor to your build. Note every time you allocate a stat point the Onion Knight’s overall health pool is lowered for balance! Random Trinket You will start with a random common trinket as well Steam Achievements There are new steam achievements for beating the game with either of the run options for the Onion Knight.
