Screw this game. It's nothing but cheap jumpscares and having to run around back and forth finding items. Then, if you get caught and killed, there NO CONTINUE option. You have to start all the way back at the beginning. That's bullsh!t. Rating: 0/10

Starting again from the start is not helpful and not good for gamers especially if you’ve been playing for 20-30 minutes. Maybe add checkpoints or a manual save or a retry so it puts ypu back to the last checkpoint if you want gamers to like your game. Not bad but not good. If you die due to the horror in the house, no retry button, only start again from the start meaning find all the notes again, find the codes...

"The Cursed Soul" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game. Typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. The Cursed Soul is the kind of horror game that starts with a pretty simple setup but does a decent job of making me want to explore the house and figure out what happened. I wake up inside an old house with no idea how I got there, and things quickly become clear that this is not somewhere I should be. I liked the mystery surrounding the place, especially as I started finding diaries that explained what had happened...
