It’s better than the first game, but still largely the same. The biggest improvement is the progression system; rod durability is no longer a thing and rod progression is quest-based rather than just money-based, rewarding exploration. These are all good changes. The problem is that all of the non gear-related upgrades affect a luck stat, which doesn’t seem to do anything as it’s shared with a pre-determined...

just boring. you might be thinking, yes, but it's fishing, but like, I like fishing games, I've played a lot of them, this one made me start sleeping. powered through to the leave the 1st island and like, didn't really find much worth it right away, so that's it. I mean, the names where funny, seeing a giant floating fish that's a god of minnows named steven or whatever, yeah good bit, but like that's all it has...
