Swords & Bones 5

I liked swords & bones 1 and 4 but I dont like this entry. I'm looking for a cheap casual game to chill with and this one cranks up the difficulty out of nowhere. It's not difficult in a satisfying way either, the player is asked to perform tricky maneuvers like double jump dash over spikes with eye laser monsters when that ability wasn't used until the end of the game. Not quite finished but this fifth entry in the series is shaping up to be my favorite so far. Probably the toughest one and I appreciate the increased difficulty level. The general 2D hack and slash gameplay coupled with finding the secret trophy tucked away is a winning formula. I don't know if diminishing returns (each episode got less reviews than the previous one) ultimately pushed this to be the last Swords & Bones, but in-game, nothing says the curse that allows for a demonic invasion every 500 years is going to be vanquished once and for all, even though the very last screen is a thanks for completing the saga.
