Working Toward 2.0
2025-05-30We are currently working toward the release of 2.0. I will probably have one other major update and a few small fixes before 2.0 is ready. Currently we are working 1.3 and will have some fixes to do before adding more in. 1.3 added • A new island called Black Star Island • New enemies including the Dark lord was added in 1.2 • an extended ending • more music • new lore and stories that set up and define the Venia universe. • Listen to how Thistledown lost it's name to the Humans • the Ages of Man • Steam City and the Mud-elves Added achievements and a Steam overlay workaround.

I am new to achievements and Steamworks period. I added a workaround for the Steam overlay that lets you access friends list by pressing Shift+F or achievements Shift+Tab. I had to do this because Path of the Ory is built with a browser based engine and keeps blocking the Steam overlay. Thank you guys for the support! and check out the Maid of Venia Playtest.
