Kitsune

I should have listened to the other negative reviews, so I'll let my own review as a warning to potential buyers. I didn't finish my first run after 4 hours of play, as the game became heavy and depressing, and that's certainly not what I look for in game. If you don't mind that, go ahead, but if you're looking for a light, mischievious and sexy adventure with a Kitsune theme, this one isn't that.

Excellent interactive fiction. The story started off a bit slow, but the 2nd half had me on the edge of my seat. I could tell the author had an appreciation for Japanese culture and the lore of the kitsune. While romance was present, I prefer much more romance, but that's just a personal bias. 9/10.

I think knowing exactly what you're getting into dampens the enjoyment of what you'll get out of this. It's been a while since a story that has been so riveting I've lost track of time. I have a bias for things involving kitsune, but I believe this is well-written. The main thing I disliked was the sense there was no way to actually 'fail' in situations that certainly should have had consequences. There doesn't...
