Kenney Game Assets

A wonderful assortment of cute-n'-simple art and audio assets by a very friendly artist who listens to the community! As a programmer who could screw up a stickman, the first thing I thought when I saw all the beautifully simple isometric tiles and clean UI elements was "I have no idea what I want to make, but I'm sure as hell gonna use these!"

It's exactly what it says on the tin: 15,000 assets for you to use as a basis for artwork in your game with the most liberal license imaginable. That said, remember to modify the art to give your game its own look and feel. I love using these as-is for prototyping, but with the exception of the UI widgets, almost everything else gets touched up, modified, or replaced before release.

Wow! So much stuff! And they're still adding to it. These are perfect for prototyping and good enough for final art. Don't let the play time fool you...there's a simple interface that comes up when you launch it, but it only counts the time that is open, not the time you're browsing the folders and using stuff. Worth every penny! :)
