Princess Shall Prevail is a pseudo 8-bit, top-down hack-and-slash game that takes heavy influence from the genre’s third-person contemporaries and some influence from scrolling shoot-em-ups. Like how many approach the genres, players will be dodging and timing their attacks accordingly.

This game and the dev as a whole doesn't nearly get enough credit. I've been binging his games and this is just another absolute banger. It really reminds me of NES games I used to play all the time, and sometimes go back to. Music is great, artstyle is simple but effective, gameplay feels as good as ever and I love how fighting feels.

Movement feels sluggish. The dash doesn't seem to work properly. Hit detection seems off, especially when attacking north or south, for both player and enemy attacks. Length seems fine for the price. If you're thinking about getting this, Miko Funk by the same dev, seems like a better game with similar gameplay.

I'm a huge fan of this developer's games and this is one of the best. Snappy gameplay and great soundtrack, like with almost all Blaze Epic games I wish it was juuust a little tad longer. Some titles end right when I'm getting into the groove, sort of speak. Anyway, solid recommend.
