After many hours on High Fidelity, I can no longer recommend the platform in its current state. If you just want to meet and talk with people, there are plenty of other choices, but to say this platform cannot do it wouldn't be accurate. I really, really wanted to like this going into it. Then I loaded into the starting tutorial world and I was hit by nauseating lag. I switched worlds. Still laggy. I changed the graphics options. Still laggy. I entered the developer settings, turned off AA and even reduced the resolution scale to 2/3. Still laggy, and now it was like I'd smeared vaseline on my lenses.
