It runs but gives a script error. Doesn't play sounds or videos and notes don't show properly. If there's no fix, I'll probably refund it. EDIT: It was too late when they come up with fixes, I already refunded the software. Therefore I have no idea if they work or not. In my honest opinion, software needs a little more than a fix. Maybe some visual update would do. I know developer answered this review... I hope...

Having used Rocksmith 2014 as my sole guitar "tutor" to date, I decided to try a proper learning package to pick up techniques instead of just learning songs. eMedia's Interactive Rock Guitar popped up on Steam and has good reviews elsewhere, so I decided to give it a try. The negative reviews above held me back in buying this for a bit, but I'm glad I got it. The information given is straight forward and easy to understand. Sure, it kinda looks like a CD-rom from the 90's but It works just fine for it's intended purpose, so who cares. I think it's funny. 5 hours in: I've done a lot of courses, but this is the first one that had me rocking in what seemed like minutes! Up till now I mostly play melodies, but this course threw me into power cords and distortion (don't click away, it's easy and great), and damn I love it! The course is well laid out and very easy to use. Including nice short videos giving you exactly what you need for that lesson. I say buy this and...
